New Yorkers Against the Death Penalty (NYADP) is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals committed to the abolition of capital punishment. NYADP advocates for public policy change through education and grass-roots organizing.
We fill a critical need
NYADP is New York’s only statewide organization focused solely on the issue of the death penalty. It is the one organization that death penalty opponents, politicians, the media, and the general public turn to for information and cogent advocacy on capital punishment. NYADP functions as a persistent watchdog and as the central organizing hub for like-minded organizations and individuals across New York State.
